Business dinners and lunches
Since 2014, Gruber & Ianeselli has been designing live communication for Swiss companies, from Zurich and Rapperswil-Jona to Davos and St. Moritz. To us, business lunches and corporate dinners are not a catering job but carefully planned encounters where business gets done.

What makes our business dinners different
A good business dinner is about more than the menu. It lives from the dramaturgy behind it: who sits next to whom, when people talk and when they eat, what message reaches the table. We plan every dinner around its purpose, whether that is client retention, winning new partners or a confidential conversation in a small circle, and translate it into venue, table and running order. If you want a grander setting, our gala and VIP events are the natural next step.
Our approach
- ListenWe clarify the occasion, the guest list and the real purpose behind the meal.
- CurateVenue, seating plan and menu are chosen for impact, not just taste.
- ChoreographRunning order, moments for conversation and details dovetail so that networking happens naturally.
- On the nightWe are there on the evening itself, keeping everything in the background and you free for your guests.
How much does a business dinner cost?
As a guide, an event of this kind costs around CHF 120 to 350 per head, depending on venue, menu and group size. Upmarket formats cost correspondingly more, such as exclusive private rooms, multi-course menus with paired wines or special settings in Davos or St. Moritz. We always prepare a specific quote based on your occasion.
FAQFrequently asked questions
How many guests do you organise a business dinner for?
Anything from a confidential table of eight to a networking dinner with several hundred guests. We adapt the format and effort to the size of the group, but the goal stays the same: getting the right people talking.
Do you choose the venue as well?
Yes. Through our offices in Zurich, Rapperswil-Jona, Davos and St. Moritz we know the right restaurants, private dining rooms and unusual settings, and we suggest the ones that suit your occasion, guests and budget.
How far in advance should we get in touch?
For a well-planned dinner we recommend four to eight weeks’ notice, especially for popular venues. Short-notice occasions can often still be arranged. Just ask and we will check what is possible.
Do you also look after the running order on the night?
Yes. If you wish, we are on site, coordinating service, timing and moments for conversation and keeping the evening flowing so you can focus entirely on your guests.
How much does a business dinner cost per head?
For an upmarket business dinner with a hand-picked venue, menu and wine pairing, allow CHF 150 to 350 per guest. We give you the range after the briefing, before anything is booked.
