A cult festival changes season. Together with Woehrle Pirola, Gruber & Ianeselli repositioned and produced the 32nd St. Moritz Gourmet Festival as its first ever summer edition. A new date, a new motto and a new look: 35 events in six days, with ten world-class international chefs cooking in nine of the Engadin’s grand hotels. Live communication for an entire destination.

St. Moritz Gourmet Festival, summer edition 2026

Repositioning and full production, in partnership with Woehrle Pirola

Every Moment has its own flavour

For thirty winters the St. Moritz Gourmet Festival was a January fixture. Since 1994 it has been a landmark in the gourmet calendar, welcoming around 80,000 guests and 200 top chefs from more than 30 countries. The 2026 summer edition was the biggest change in its history: mountain lakes, larch forests and alpine meadows took over from snow and log fires as the stage. The brief was to keep the character of the original and build a programme that could only happen in summer.

The new motto, “Every Moment has its own flavour”, was the thread running through everything: brand, website, programme and communication. We developed the design together with St. Moritz Tourismus, rebuilt the website and staged the festival as a sequence of moments. It opened in the kitchen of Badrutt’s Palace and moved on to Fire, Nature & Fine Dining in Val Bever, the Sun Society in the penthouse of the Grace La Margna and Gourmet & Jazz in the larch forest, before the St. Moritz Garden Party at Suvretta House and the Tavolata in Val Chamuera. Add to that masterclasses, an Open Bottle Day with the sponsors and walk-in cocktails in every hotel bar, no ticket needed, for the whole destination.

Ten guest chefs, 17 Michelin stars

At the stove: Michelin-starred chefs and names from the 50 Best lists, some of them cooking in Switzerland for the first time.

Together with Woehrle Pirola and the organising committee, we developed the concept and programme, coordinated the guest chefs and the nine partner hotels, took charge of guest management, ticketing and sponsor integration, and produced and directed every Official and Special Event across more than ten locations.

“A successful summer premiere”: the response from guests, hotels and partners was so positive that the second summer edition has already been announced for 24 to 29 August 2027. Proof that live communication can reinvent a 32-year-old format without losing its soul. Everything about the festival: stmoritz-gourmetfestival.ch. St. Moritz Garden Party at Suvretta House

The Garden Party in the grounds of Suvretta House was one of the highlights of the summer edition. This is how guests and the media saw the afternoon.

Brand activation for Visa Infinite

Visa Infinite was a partner of the summer edition and ran its own brand activation at the festival. This film shows it.
